Keep land records ready for SIT probe, collector tells Visakhapatnam Rural revenue officials

Collector Pravin Kumar on Wednesday visited Visakhapatnam Rural revenue office at Arilova and inspected the maintenance of revenue records.

VISAKHAPATNAM: Collector Pravin Kumar on Wednesday visited Visakhapatnam Rural revenue office at Arilova and inspected the maintenance of revenue records. He instructed the officials to keep all the records up to date as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials, in all likelihood, will check the records. He directed the officials to get ready for the SIT probe. The collector also enquired about the field survey and uploading of land maps and other data on to the Webland portal.
The revenue officers informed the collector that only some records need to be updated and it would be completed at the earliest.

Pravin inspected the daily work pattern of the mandal revenue officials and staff. He also asked about the safe maintenance practices of the revenue and land survey records.
Meanwhile, TDP city president and MLA Vasupalli Ganesh Kumar, along with the other leaders, discussed the arrangements for the  Maha Sankalp Deeksha on June 24 at their party office.
Vasupalli said that in the larger interest of Vizagites and for the convenience of the police department, the TDP took the decision to postpone the Deeksha to June 24 instead of 22.
