HYDERABAD : Die-hard fans of matinee idol-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan were in for a shock on Wednesday morning after learning that their Power Star has been inactive on twitter for the last couple of days as his account had been hacked.
The Jana Sena Party chief is unable to post any tweets at present as his account has been hacked. Jana Sena’s official spokesperson said Pawan Kalyan’s official Twitter account had been hacked.
Pawan, popularly known as “Power Star”, found out about this when he tried to post his comments on Twitter on Monday, at Dharna Chowk here.
“We approached some Information Technology experts to sort out issues after the actor’s Twitter account was hacked. We will also initiate legal action against those who hacked the account,” Jana Sena stated in a release adding that the actor brought the issue to the notice of the police officials.
The process to recover his account is reportedly underway.
The IT experts, who are looking into the problem, found that an unknown person had logged into the account of Pawan Kalyan.
When contacted the Cyber crime police said no official complaint has been lodged with the police in connection with the incident.
Pawan Kalyan’s last tweet on May 8, was with regard to a North Indian IAS officer taking charge as TTD Executive Officer, a post regularly held by IAS officers belonging to Andhra Pradesh.
In his tweet, Pawan wanted to know whether the Delhi leaders would allow any South Indian IAS officer to take up key administrative positions in key temples in the north such as Amaranth, Varanasi and Mathura.
