ELURU: Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh has challenged Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan to prove the allegations of corruption against him. The minister was speaking at the Gramadarshini-Grama Vikasam programme at Penugonda village in West Godavari district on Wednesday.  “Pawan Kalyan’s allegations against me are false and fabricated,” he said.

Targeting Leader of the Opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy, the minister said, “While the TDP MPs are agitating in and outside Parliament demanding special category status to the State, the YSRCP president is not even uttering a word against the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue. Jagan fears of jail for his corruption and 420 cases filed against him if he opens his mouth against the BJP”.
He claimed that the TDP would win all the 25 MP seats in the State in coming elections and play a vital role at the Centre.

The Chief Minister has fulfilled all the election promises. The State government is paying pensions to 54 lakh people. From October, the unemployed youth will get `1,000 as the stipend. By establishing Anna Canteens, the government is providing meals to the poor at fewer prices, he said.

He said the Panchayat Raj Department would construct underground drainages in villages. Ministers Pitani Satyanarayana, KS Jawahar, MLAs Arimilli Radha Krishna, Nimmala Ramanaidu and Peethala Sujatha and others were present.
