NPTEL opens local chapter at VVIT

The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) opened a local chapter at Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT) in Namburu of Guntur district.

GUNTUR: The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) opened a local chapter at Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT) in Namburu of Guntur district.

The NPTEL, a project funded by the Government of India, has opened several local chapters at various institutions across India.

Dr. M Y Bhanumurthy, in-charge of Guntur chapter, attended NPTEL SPOC felicitation workshop at IIT, Madras on July 14. VVIT has been ranked 39 in top 100 local chapters’ list, out of 1,800 chapters of NPTEL spread across the country.

Institute chairman Vasireddy Vidya Sagar congratulated the students for completing various online courses offered by NPTEL. As many 165 students and 25 faculties of VVIT have been awarded certificates in various courses by NPTEL.
