GITAM initiates ‘Study in India’ programme

 The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) has included the name of Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) in the newly initiated ‘Study in India’ programme.

VISAKHAPATNAM:    The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) has included the name of Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) in the newly initiated ‘Study in India’ programme, said GITAM Vice-Chancellor MS Prasada Rao in a press release issued on Thursday. 

During an interaction with foreign students and parents, he said that the ‘Study in India’ programme’s primary objective is to target foreign students by branding India as an attractive education destination. About 90 institutes, including IIT, NIT, IISAR and IIMs, some of the State and Central universities and select deemed universities are included in the list based on NAAC grade and NIRF ranking for this mission.
