APNGOA: HC suspends order regarding election 

The bench made it clear that the court order would not be an obstacle for the DCO to take orders afresh as per law on the election issue.

HYDERABAD: A division bench of the High Court on Wednesday cancelled the orders issued by the Hyderabad district cooperative officer (DCO) and cooperative societies joint registrar regarding the conduct of election to the board of directors of APNGOA (Gachibowli) mutually aided cooperative housing society limited. 

The bench made it clear that the court order would not be an obstacle for the DCO to take orders afresh as per law on the election issue. The bench of Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice J Uma Devi passed this order while disposing of the appeals filed by the TS government and another against the order of a single judge on the issue.

On May 18 this year, citing non-filing of annual returns, statement of accounts and so on by the society, the DCO issued orders for conduct of general body meeting to initiate process for election of board of directors to the society. On June 1st, the DCO order for constitution of adhoc committee.
