CM Chandrababu Naidu, Lokesh to open INVECAS, VEDA IIT units today

GUNTUR: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj N Lokesh will inaugurate two IT companies INVECAS and VEDA IIT at Vidya Nagar here on June 29 (Friday). The State government is also promoting IT companies at Mangalagiri in Guntur district. Advisor to AP Government and president of AP Non-Resident Telugu Society Dr Ravi Vemuru said APNRT is bringing IT companies to Amaravati. As part of this exercise, the government is promoting two more companies in Guntur city, which would provide employment to local youth.

INVECAS co-founder and CEO Dasaradha Gude said INVECAS and its sister concern VEDA IIT, have the potential to catapult Amaravati to the next level as a destination in IT industry. He further said executives of about 50 leading IT companies in the world are participating in the event.

He said INVECAS specialises in VLSI design and development for the much-needed research. He said the company would start its operations right from the day of its inauguration with 250 plus world-class engineers. INVECAS operates the offices globally and more than 2,000 engineers are working worldwide.

He said the company has a strong track record in delivering world-class semiconductor designs and works with several leading companies like Global Foundries, Qualcomm, AMD and Intel among others. He said, “Our vision for Amaravati is to open the gateway to leading world technologies and revolutionise the entire face of educational scenario by collaborating with various industries.”

He further said VEDA IIT (VLSI Engineering and Design Automation) is an industry-driven state-of-the-art training institute of excellence in various fields such as VLSI, embedded systems and futuristic technologies such as IoT, Blockchain and Machine Learning. He said 150 batches have passed out and around a total of 3,000 students have graduated. Dr Ravi Vemuru said, “Creation of an ideal IT ecosystem requires the right balance of students, training institutes and IT companies.”
