CHITRADURGA: Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah on Sunday lashed out at the government and Speaker K G Bhopaiah for “shielding” the three BJP MLAs, who were “caught” watching porn clippings in the Assembly.

Addressing media on Sunday he said, he urged the government to initiate criminal proceedings against the trio. “When ministers themselves admitted to watching porn clipping inside the hall, what was the need of constituting a House Committee for an enquiry?” he asked.

Replying to the misuse of Wakf property, he said “The Congress is in favour of holding a CBI enquiry into the issue, and has no faith in the report prepared by  Anwar Manipady.”

Referring to the HC order over the appointment of DG and IGP, he said that  the government put a wrong step in selecting DG and  IGP.
