BANGALORE: Taking cognizance of the prevailing drought in the state, agitating lecturers and principals of Pre-university Colleges have agreed not to press for an increase in salaries as of now, but will hold talks with the government.

Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Vishveshwar Hegde Kageri informed this after a meeting between representatives of the PU College lecturers and principals and the Chief Minister here on Thursday. “The CM promised to look into their demands... the representatives, on their part, have agreed to hold talks.”
