BHARAMASAGAR: Mallappa, 50, was electrocuted at Emmehatti village of Chitradurga taluk on Monday night.
In a complaint lodged at Bharamasagara police station, it is learnt that Mallappa was electrocuted when he leaned on an electricity pole in front of his house.
He died on the way to the district hospital.

Bijapur: An HIV-positive woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well in Bijapur on Tuesday, police said.
According to police sources, the 40-year-old, a spinster was staying with her aged father in Bijapur.
