BANGALORE: “In the past, a minister in the BJP government allegedly attempted to rape a married woman. Another of its ministers was involved with an unmarried woman. Now the conduct of these three ministers have demonstrated the BJP’s true culture,” KPCC president Dr G Parameshwar said. Addressing the Media here on Wednesday, he said that the BJP government and its legislators should demit office and seek fresh mandate as they denigrated the sanctity of the Assembly by watching pornographic film on its premises.

Parameshwar said, “The conduct of the three ministers in the  Assembly is nothing but shameful and they deserve to be disqualified from the House.”

He added that the Congress would press for the disqualification of the membership of these three members. The KPCC president also demanded that the chief minister should dissolve the Assembly.

Criticising that the three ministers did their best to defend themselves, Parmeshwar demanded Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah to take stern action against the trio.

According to him, the resignation of the three ministers is not enough to save the grace and sanctity of the Karnataka Assembly, which enjoys utmost respect and credibility at the national level.

“We will not settle for the mere resignation of three ministers. We want this government to go,” the KPCC president said.
