HASSAN: Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs S Sureshkumar on Saturday said Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda would talk to High Court Chief Justice Vikramjit Sen over the appointment of Upa Lokayukta Justice Chandrashekaraiah.

He said here on Saturday that the government could not take any decision now as Chandrashekaraiah took oath from the Governor as Upa Lokayukta. The issue would be debated in the House where the government would clear its stand, the minister said.

The government also would consult legal experts and study thoroughly the Lokayukta Act before taking any decision, he added. It may be pertinent to note that the Chief Justice has criticised the appointment of Upa Lokayukta and written a letter to the chief minister in this regard.

Suresh Kumar said the three MLAs watching porn clipping in the Assembly damaged the image of the BJP, and the party would take necessary action against them after the House Committee submitted its report.
