RAICHUR:  An employee from a tutorial centre at Sindhanur apparently made calls to Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar’s mobile phone, the police reported.

According to the police, Amaresh Buddinni (24), an attender at the Challenge Coaching Centre, apparently called  Rabbani’s mobile phone four months ago.

The Central Crime Branch police from Bangalore rushed to Sindhanur to inquire into the matter. Later, the local police learnt that he did not understand Hindi or Urdu. However North East IGP Md Nazeer Ahmed told reporters here on Monday that investigation is on. “There is a possibility that some others could have misused his mobile,”Ahmed said. Since  the call has gone to the Pakistan Minister, it is a sensitive issue and it is imperative to know the real intention of the caller,” said Ahmed.

The police were keeping a watch on those who use Buddinni’s cell phone.
