BELGAUM: Union Minister Mallikarjun Kharge, who on Monday morning had said that the Congress will consider former CM B S Yeddyurappa if he wants to join them, did a volte-face in the afternoon, stating that there is no question of admitting him.
Kharge clarified that the Congress will go through all applications before admitting anybody to the party. He added should Congress come to power, it will be due to its pro-people programmes.
