BANGALORE: The High Court on Monday further extended the relief on bail conditions earlier granted to the family members of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, who are co-accused in various land denotification cases.

Counsel for the petitioner stated that the Lokayukta Court does not have powers to ask for documents of transactions and other details.

Hearing the petition, Justice Subhash B Adi directed the Lokayukta counsel to give clarification on the issue and adjourned the matter till January 17 for further hearing.

It may be noted that the court had granted relief from the bail conditions imposed by the Lokayukta Court on Yeddyurappa’s sons, B Y Raghavendra and B Y Vijayendra, and his son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar asking them to produce the documents of transactions of two companies owned by them, Davalagiri Property Developers and Bhagat Homes Pvt Limited.
