BANGALORE: The JD(S) got itself a shot of glamour with popular Kannada cine actress Pooja Gandhi joining the party here on Wednesday. “I am impressed with the service rendered by H D Deve Gowda during his tenure as prime minister for the cause of farmers and weaker societal sections. Similarly, the pro-people programmes of H D Kumaraswamy urged me to join the JD(S),” Pooja said, after she was formally inducted into the party by former minister M C Nanaiah and Y S V Datta; two techies from Infosys, Shilpa Reddy and Sahira, too, joined the JD(S) on the occasion.
