BELGAUM: Agriculture Minister Umesh Katti - a confidante of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa - sprang a surprise by stating that the BJP-led government led by D V Sadananda Gowda will complete its term. Addressing the media here on Thursday after Republic Day celebrations here on Thursday, Katti, however, added: “Whoever be the CM, this government will complete its term.”
The minister averred that dissidence is common in any ruling party; however, went silent when repeatedly questioned on the chief minister, before declaring that Gowda will remain the CM.
Katti said that about 80 per cent of the construction of Suvarna Soudha in Belgaum has been completed and it would be inaugurated by March.
