KARWAR: The tour of Uttara Kannada district by state JD(S) president and former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy last week hinted at the issues that his party will raise in the assembly during the session beginning on Monday.

He was critical of the agriculture budget presented by former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa during the last budget session. The agriculture budget was a farce, he said at Yellapur and Mundgod. He said that the Assembly speaker should resign on moral grounds after the verdict of the Supreme Court which went against him.He added that bringing a no-confidence motion against the speaker by the Congress in the Assembly will be a waste of time
