MANGALORE: Though Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda had won the Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency seat earlier, the BJP will not be able to retain this seat again as the people are well aware of the party’s mal-administration.

The Congress would definitely win, predicted Corporate Affairs Minister M Veerappa Moily here on Sunday.

He told media persons on the sidelines of the Canara Organisation for Development and Peace (CODP) programme, that the controversy over organising a rave party at St Mary’s island and the recent porngate issue involving three of its former ministers has revealed the real face of the BJP.

We are sure that people will not cast their valuable vote for the BJP, he added.

Responding to a query on the Uttar Pradesh election, Moily said it is too early to predict.

Moily condemned the attack of the advocates on journalists and said that the state government had taken a long time to file cases against the culprits.

It shows their concern for the media, he said.

Though the Centre had released enough funds under various schemes, it was not fully utilised by the state government, he rued
