BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda announced a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh to the Indian Women’ Kabaddi team captain Mamatha Poojari who hails from the state.
“The chief minister has complimented the Indian Women’ Kabaddi team for winning the first-ever world cup,” a press release from CM’s office stated. The cheque will be issued shortly.
