MYSORE: A Soliga tribal woman was ‘sexually harassed’ by four miscreants during Chikka Sampige Jatra festival at Biligiri Ranga Hills. The celebrations have attracted non-tribals including tourists, who come in large numbers to take part in the festival.

The ‘miscreants’, who abused the tribal woman had come to take part in the festival. The woman was admitted to a primary health centre. Hanur police have proceeded to Bedaguli to get the compliant and the statement recorded. However, the police compliant has not been lodged by the victim or any of their family members.
