BANGALORE: After several sittings, the four-member House committee — constituted to investigate into the porngate scandal, in which three MLAs were caught watching sleaze clippings inside the Legislative Assembly - submitted its report to Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah on Monday. Panel chief Srishailappa Bidarur after submitting a 38-page report on the incident termed it as objective.

He said that the committee had to deal with a challenging job given the nature of its sensitivity. “We remained aloof from our party affiliation during inquiry.” He refused to comment on the recommendations made in the report.

‘Issue Left to Members’

Meanwhile, Bopaiah after receiving the report informed that it would be placed before the house. “Until the house takes a decision on the report, the MLAs involved will be barred from attending the session,” he added.
