BANGALORE: For all the commuters, who complain of city’s traffic congestion, the Budget brings a reason smile. Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has been allotted Rs 1,000 crore. Signal-free corridors on a stretch of 51.5 kms at an estimated cost of Rs 426 crore will be set up. Also, Rs 200 crore is allotted for roads, which will come up in Tender Specification for Urban Road Execution (TenderSURE) design norms. Rs 200 crore is allotted for construction of eight parking complexes.
