BANGALORE: In connection with a complaint registered by senior IPS officer, Hemanth Nimbalkar, the Vidhana Soudha police have filed an FIR against former Lokayukta Justice N Santosh Hegde and CID DGP Rupak Kumar Datta, on Thursday.
The FIR has been filed under sections 66(a) of the Information Technology Act, 166, 167, 211, 109, 114, 117 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The FIR was filed following Nimbalkar filing case, on March 16, against Hegde and Datta of mentally torturing him by making false allegation.
Bidari Case: Dictation of Orders on Friday
The High Court will continue its dictation of orders on the writ petitions filed by the state government and DGP and IGP Shankar M Bidari challenging the order of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), which quashed Bidari’s appointment.
A division bench comprising Justices N Kumar and H S Kempanna, will continue the dictation on Friday.
