PGCET counselling: Nearly 11,000 collect admission orders

As many as 10,903 candidates have collected the admission orders for MBA, MCA and MTech courses from Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

The Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2012 seat confirmation process, payment of prescribed fees and collection of admission order for joining the respective colleges by the candidates are in progress.

According to KEA, 7,479 candidates have collected admission orders in MBA, 2,476 students in MCA and 948 in MTech. The last date for reporting to the respective colleges and updating the same on KEA website is October 20.  If the candidates fail to confirm their status of joining the college on KEA website then their allotted seat will be cancelled even though they might have physically reported to the college.

Candidates while receiving the admission orders should produce verification slip, acknowledgment card (white card), printout for having accepted the allotment and prescribed fees in the form of Demand Draft.
