518 ULB nominations received on 4th day

As many as 518 nominations, including 107 from the BJP and 93 from the Congress, were received at the end of the fourth day for the March 7 election to Urban Local Bodies (ULB) on Wednesday.

According to the State Election Commission sources, the maximum number of 220 applications were received from independents from 208 ULBs. The sources said that while 82 nominations were received from JD(S), 10 were from the KJP. The last date for filing of nominations is Saturday and February 27 is the last day for withdrawal.
