Former minister quits JD(S)

Former minister S K Kanta submitted his resignation from the membership of Parliamentary Board of JD(S) and from the primary membership of the party here on Wednesday. Kanta sent his resignation letter to national president of JD(S) H D Deve Gowda on Wednesday and released a copy of it to the reporters. In his letter he has said the non-inclusion of candidates suggested by the party as its nominee for ULB polls had hurt him. Kanta further said that he would not withdraw the resignation.
