MYSURU:As many as 34 farmers have committed suicide so far during the current year in Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s home district of Mysuru.
The district authorities disclosed this during a review meeting conducted by District In-charge Secretary M Lakshminarayan as a prelude to Chief Minister’s review meeting to be held in the first week of November.
Deputy Commissioner D Randeep said out of 34 suicide cases, 18 were caused by agriculture reasons like crop losses.
