Special Tatkal train to Kerala from Karnataka to clear Onam rush

BENGALURU: The Yesvantpur – Kochuveli Tatkal Special (Train no 06575) will leave Yesvantpur at 3.20 pm on September 1 (Friday) and arrive at Kochuveli at 6.50 am the following day.

In the return direction, the Kochuveli – Yesvantpur Tatkal Special (Train No.06576) will leave kochuveli at 12.40 pm on September 2 (Saturday) and arrive at Yesvantpur at 4.30 am the following day, said an official release.

The train will stop at Banasawadi, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Tirupattur, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Ottapalam, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Kayankulam and Kollam in both directions.

Trains to Mumbai, North East cancelled

Due to water logging in Mumbai and rains in the North East, some trains between Bengaluru and Mumbai are cancelled.

Mumbai CSTM - KSR Bengaluru Udyan Express (Train no. 11301) on Thursday and the train departing from the City station, KSR Bengaluru-Mumbai CSTM Udyan Express (11302) on September 1 were cancelled.

Due to delay in restoration work of the flood-affected areas falling under the North Frontier Railway, these trains are cancelled on Friday: Bengaluru Cantonment - Guwahati Express (12509) and Bengaluru Cantonment Kamakhya Express. On Saturday, the Yesvantpur - Kamakhya AC Express (12551) stands cancelled.
