BENGALURU: The state Congress is seeing a conspiracy to malign party leaders and destabilise the Siddaramaiah government after the local electronic media on Thursday started showing some diary notings allegedly indicating payments made to the Congress high command.

BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa had made an allegation recently that Siddaramaiah had paid `1,000 crore to the party high command to stay as CM and claimed the information was obtained from a diary seized during raids at the residence of Congress MLC Govindaraju.
KPCC working president Dinesh Gundu Rao termed it as a political conspiracy by the Narendra Modi government.
MLC Govindaraju said, “It is not my diary. It is not in my handwriting.”
