KALABURAGI: Two persons were killed and five sustained injuries when the Tam-Tam (bit autorickshaw) in which they were travelling collided head-on with a car near Gobbur-Wadi village of Afzalpur taluk on Saturday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Bouramma, daughter of Eeraiah (34) and Mahesh Shetty (36) from Kalaburagi City.
They, along with few other people, had gone to Chimanagera village of Afzalpur taluk to attend annual fair of the village deity on Friday evening and were returning to Kalaburagi in the Tam-Tam on Saturday morning.
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital. A case has been registered at Ganagapur Police Station.
