Fraudster arrested for duping public

Kollam east police on Sunday arrested a man engaged in mobilising deposits for Jaipur-based real estate development firm PACL Limited, against which the city police had registered a money chain cheating case, earlier in March.

Kollam east police on Sunday arrested a man engaged in mobilising deposits for Jaipur-based real estate development firm PACL Limited, against which the city police had registered a money chain cheating case, earlier in March.

Rajesh, 38, of Rajesh Bhavan, Mangaram, Pandalam in Pathanamthitta district was the arrested. 

Police said that Rajesh was the senior estate executive consultant of the firm and around 200 agents from Adoor and Pandalam areas worked under him. He has a 2,000 strong customer base.

Police said that Rajesh and the agents under him continued mobilising deposits from unsuspecting customers, even after police had closed down the Kadappakkada branch of the firm. 

The arrest came after the police gained information that the agents had been collecting huge amount of cash from customers and were depositing it in the Nagercoil branch of the real estate development firm.
