KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala has said that the latest developments in the solar scam were an LDF plot against the UDF Government.
“We’ll face the challenge unitedly. The statement of Sreedharan Nair has no credibility. He has changed his statements many times. We’ll stand by the Chief Minister,” he said. The assessment at the meet was that Nair had changed his statements many times. Nair has revealed that he was under pressure from Congressmen and others not to stick to his complaint.
Chandy had told the Assembly on Monday that he had met Nair twice but only in a group and not along with Saritha and discussed only issues related with stone crusher unit owners in the state. He has claimed that a statement given a few days after one was filed implicating Oommen Chandy earlier was issued under pressure. Incidentally, Nair’s links with various political outfits are also under scanner.
