Considering the sensitive atmosphere prevailing in the district following some objectionable posts appeared on Facebook, District Collector P S Mohammed Sageer, on Sunday, imposed curfew in Kasargod Taluk and other areas falling within Hosdurg and Bekkal police station limits.
The move came on the recommendation of District Superintendent of Police Thomson Jose, keeping in mind the protests and agitations against the alleged hate posts which appeared on a Facebook page recently.
