The police on Sunday collected evidence in the presence of suspended director of Information and Public Relations and financial fraud accused A Firoz at Koodankulam and Kanyakumari where he stayed while absconding.
Sources said that Firoz had stayed in a mosque near Koodankulam for several days and in some lodges near Kanyakumari.
“He would also be taken to his residence in Kaniyapuram soon,” the officials said.
