Solar scam accused Biju Radhakrishnan’s advocate Jacob Mathew on Thursday said that he would release the tape containing visuals of some ministers sexually abusing Saritha Nair, once he received a written permission from Biju.
He also mentioned names of Union Minister K C Venugopal, Minister A P Anilkumar, former minister K B Ganesh Kumar and the then Kollam Police Commissioner M R Ajithkumar.
Jacob Mathew said that Biju Radhakrishnan was in possession of evidence of a dozen VIPs abusing Saritha at the Guest House in Thekkady and at the houses of K C Venugopal’s friends in New Delhi. These were the information received from Saritha’s diary, and there are more than one tape of a particular VIP abusing her, he added. He alleged that once Biju made the disclosure about this tape, the mobile phones of Biju and his advocates were being tapped. They are also facing threat to their lives, he said. Jacob Mathew said that Saritha’s laptop and pen-drive were in Biju’s custody.
Meanwhile, another advocate of Biju, N V Sanu, gave a complaint to the jail superintendent that Biju was taken to the court with tied hands and gagged mouth. He was not allowed to talk to the media raising doubts, he said in the complaint. He also asked why the government was afraid of Biju, who is in the jail. Biju’s life is in danger and his security should be tightened further, he said. Meanwhile, Minister K C Venugopal challenged the advocate to release the tapes and termed the claim as part of a conspiracy against him.
