Camp for pilgrims opened at Pampa

The Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham(ABASS) has opened its full-fledged camp at Pampa to offer basic facilities for the pilgrims.

The Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa Seva Sangham(ABASS) has opened its full-fledged camp at Pampa to offer basic facilities for the pilgrims.

ABASS president Thennala Balakrishna Pillai inaugurated the free food distribution. The free food facility, aiming at 10,000 pilgrims a day,  will be available  between 7 am to 11 am, 12 to 3 pm noon and 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm. Medicated water resting place and toilets are the other facilities available for the pilgrims at the Pampa camp.

Stretcher service

A 20-member volunteer force has been deployed for stretcher service between Sannidhanam and Pampa.

ABASS, in association with Apollo Hospital at Madurai, will offer modern health care facilities, including emergency cardiac care, at Pampa. Led by camp officer C Ramanunni,  the sangham also offers an ayurveda  ‘marma’ treatment facility under  veteran specialist Vasudeva Kurup.
