The projects envisaged by K V Thomas, Union Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies for the development of Ernakulam constituency have been phenomenal, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has said.
He was speaking after releasing ‘Janasamaksham’, a book penned by K V Thomas on the developmental projects undertaken by him in the Ernakulam constituency here on Sunday.
The Home Minister said that the effective leadership of K V Thomas has breathed new life into the public distribution system which had been marred by controversies for a long time.
“Through many of his projects, the state could facilitate the distribution of food items,” he said.
Chennithala released the book by handing it over to journalist K M Roy. Hibi Eden MLA presided over the function. Dominic Presentation MLA also attended.
