Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has misused official machinery to drum up publicity on the draft notification on the Kasturirangan panel report. This is a clear violation of the Election Code of Conduct, BJP state president V Muraleedharan said. The BJP will soon lodge complaints with the Central Election Commission and the Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala, on the matter, he said. The BJP will also extend support to Friday’s coastal hartal called by the Dheevara Sabha protesting against attempts to malign the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, he said.
