THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: To offer banking services to Sabarimala pilgrims, Dhanlaxmi Bank has opened its branch at Sabarimala for the festive season. Devaswom Minister V S Sivakumar inaugurated the bank branch.
This branch will function for two months. It will offer ‘Point of Sale’ facility for the customers to give donations via credit card/ debit card. ATM facility will also be available at Pamba and Sannidhanam.
As in previous years, coupons for getting ‘appam’, and ‘aravana’ and conducting ‘neyyabhishekam’ will be distributed through the bank’s branches. Arrangements have been made to make available ‘prasadam’ from the special counter opened at Sannidhanam.
Devotees from other states can seek information in their own language at the special information centre. In this 24-hour counters, devotees can also buy ‘appam’ and ‘aravana’ prasadams.
Those who book prasadam online can buy it from the counter at Lower Thirumuttom.
