Man Held for Molesting Co-passenger

KOCHI: The Ernakulam Railway police on Wednesday arrested Nandakumar, a junior superintendent with Edappal panchayat, Malappuram, for molesting a girl in the Ernakulam-Janashatabdi Express.

The complaint was lodged by a student of a private college in Thrissur, who was travelling in the train. According to the victim, Nandakumar started misbehaving with the girl on the journey. The girl first lodged a complaint with the Thrissur Railway police, which was then transferred to Ernakulam.

The Railway police filed a case under Section 364 against the accused.
