National Youth Table Tennis Tourney from Tuesday

ALAPPUZHA: The 76th Junior and Youth National and Inter-state Table Tennis Championship will be held at the SDV Centenary Hall and the Radha Convention Centre here from November 25 to 30. About 30 teams from various states will participate in the championship.

Film director Fazil and district panchayat president Prathibha Hari will inaugurate the championship at 5 pm. The Table Tennis Federation of India, Kerala Table Tennis Association, Alappuzha Table Tennis Association and Alappuzha YMCA are jointly organising the programme.

Municipal chairperson Mercy Diana Macedo released the logo of the championship at the Press Club Hall in Alappuzha on Saturday.  Joshy Vincent of Ernakulam won the logo designing competition. 

DTTA president E Jacob Philipose, secretary P K Venkattaraman,  Michael Mathai, Jacob John, R Suresh, Rony Mathew and competition manager N Gamesh spoke.
