PSC Online Examination Regional Centre to be Launched Next Week

KAKKANAD: The regional online examination centre of the State Public Service Commission will be launched here on December 5.

The facility at its regional office will be inaugurated by Governor P Sathasivam at the zonal office at 10.30 am.

According to a statement, with the launch of the online platform for preparing ranklists will be speeded up. “The hassles in announcing the Public Service Commission list will come down with the launch of the new facility. The new platform would help bring out the rank lists in three months,” it said.

Regional officer of state Public Service Commission K G Pradeep Kumar said that although 220 candidates can be accommodated, the authorities will allow only 200 candidates for the exam and the remaining 20 will be reserved for any emergency cause.

Apart from other advanced facilities, the  new centre will be under the surveillance of CCTV cameras, Pradeep said.

The department has already started online exam centres at Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta.

At the function chairman of the State Public Service Commission K S Radhakrishnan will give the presidential address while secretary PC Binoy will deliver the welcome speech.
