Clean-up Drive Begins

ALAPPUZHA : Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has said that though Keralites are more conscious about cleanliness, give least importance in keeping the premises of houses and public places clean.

He was speaking after inaugurating the clean campaign organised by the Clean Kerala Mission, at Harippad, near here, on Sunday.The Minister said the traders and house holds are throwing waste to public places or roads creating pollution and spreading epidemics. So the public should keep their premises clean.
