PATHANAMTHITTA: Two Class XII students, Vishnu Suresh, 17, and Noel Philip, 17, of Kaipattoor St Gregorios senior higher secondary school, drowned in Achenkovil river at Kurumpelil kadavu near Kaipattor bridge at 2.30 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
The deceased, along with two other students, had gone to the river to take a bath after the examinations at their school.
The bodies were fished out by the Pathanamthitta Fire and Rescue personnel .
The other two students, Jaison Philip and Ajoy, were rescued by local residents.
Vishnu Suresh, from Kodumon East near Adoor, is the eldest son of A K Suresh and Vijayasree.
Noel Philip, the other deceased, is the younger son of late Philip Mathew and Suma, Neduvelil in Thumpamon near Pandalam.
The body of the students were brought to the General Hospital for postmortem.
After the postmortem, the body will be handed over to the relatives of the students on Wednesday.
