KOZHIKODE: After hacking the website of Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, self-proclaimed Pak cyber crooks have hacked the website of renowned writer and Jnanpith awardee M T Vasudevan Nair, who recently faced the BJP ire over criticising the demonetisation at a book release function.
The website with domain name ‘www.mtvasudevannair.com’ has been hacked by the so-called Pak cyber attackers and the main page has been loaded with a poster saying “website Stamped by Kashmiri Cheetah”.

Kalamandalam Saraswathi, wife of M T Vasudevan Nair, told ‘Express’ that the writer had such a website but they don’t know anything about the hacking.
Hackers, under the banner PaK Cyber Army, have been targeting various government websites for quite some time. But it is for the first time that the website of a renowned writer has come under attack. Police suspect that the hackers had targeted the writer’s website to get maximum publicity and make use of the controversy over demonetisation. Only through a detailed cyber forensic probe, the cyber wing of the state police will be able to track the IP address of the hackers and their location.

Radhakrishnan sticks to his stand on MT
T’Puram: Stating that no one is above criticism, BJP state general secretary A N Radhakrishnan on Friday reiterated that he was sticking to his criticism against M T Vasudevan Nair’s remarks against demonetisation. Answering a query, he said that MT too was not above criticism.  “MT is a great human being adored and respected by every Malayali. I have not made any unsavoury remark against him. But MT had remained mute when several serious issues concerning Keralites’ life had cropped up,” he said.
Noted sculptor Kanayi Kunhiraman said here on Friday that writers and cultural leaders were not above criticism,  referring to the controversy over BJP ‘s criticism of M T Vasudevan Nair’s remarks on demonetisation. Kanayi said all writers in Kerala were affiliated to politics of their liking. “I have never seen an impartial writer. Everybody has politics,” he said.
