THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The son of the man who was arrested for allegedly manhandling Kodikkunnil Suresh MP, attempted suicide at his residence at Kanaka Nagar within the Museum police station limits on Wednesday. Nikhil Dev, 24, son of Ashokan, resorted to the extreme step after his father was denied bail in the case for allegedly attacking the MP the other day.
