KOZHIKODE: The absence of Mullappally Ramachandran MP from the receptions accorded to the ‘Janaraksha Yatra’ led by KPCC President V M Sudheeran in various parts of Vadakara Lok Sabha constituency the other day has kicked up a major row within the Congress fold.

According to party sources, Mullappally has deliberately abstained from the public meetings as a sign of protest against Sudheeran and the party state leadership for cold-shouldering him.

Mullappally was reportedly unhappy over the reshuffle in the party after his supporters were completely sidelined, the sources further said.
