KOLLAM: C J George, executive director of Kerala Minerals and Metals Limited (KMML), passed away in Ernakulam on Sunday. George, who started his career at KMML as senior manager (instrumentation) in 1984 later held the positions of AGM, DGM, JGM and GM, before becoming the executive director of the company.
“George had played a key role in the comprehensive development of the establishment and had toiled hard for converting the company into a profitable one, a KMML statement said.
He was also the director board member of KMML and KEMDEL. Minister for Industries P K Kunjalikutty and Labour Minister Shibu Baby John expressed their condolence over the demise of C J George.
The funeral will be held at the Chambakkara St James Church, Vyttila, at 10 am on Tuesday.
