KOZHIKODE: Brazilian football star Ronaldinho had a miraculous escape on Monday, when a traffic signal light collapsed right in front of the car he was travelling at Nadakavu here on Monday.
The incident occurred when he entered the car, to be returned to hotel, after interacting with the students of GVHSS for Girls, Nadakkavu. Meanwhile, police officials played down the incident saying that the dysfunctional traffic signal collapsed when people unintentionally pulled it down in the ensuing rush. Ronaldinho is in Kozhikode on a two-day visit in connection with the inauguration of Nagjee football tourney.
